Los Angeles experienced widespread festivities after the Los Angeles Dodgers won a thrilling seven-game World Series championship. Fans worldwide united with Angelenos in jubilation, marking the first time in 25 years that a franchise has achieved back-to-back championships.
Celebration Parade Draws Enormous Crowds
Local events included a downtown parade on the morning of the parade, a ticketed rally at the team's home stadium, and impromptu gatherings throughout the city.
Online footage show countless of Los Angeles residents flooding downtown streets, many carrying handmade banners and Dodger flags. The squad was seen riding high on a double-decker bus through the masses, raising the Commissioner’s trophy high.
