On Monday, the court learned phone records and information recovered from phones documented Ms Wandelt consistently requesting Madeleine's mother for a biological test during that period.

Madeleine's disappearance in 2007 - when she was three years old during a family holiday in Portugal - is one of the most publicized missing child cases and is still unresolved.

'I Do Not Need Money'

Another phone message, played in court, captured Ms Wandelt saying: "I realize I'm heavy and not pretty like Madeleine had been, but I believe what I know."

While a separate message of Ms Wandelt's one-way conversations with Mrs McCann's answerphone expressed: "What if there is a tiny probability that I am Madeleine? Then what? Isn't that important for you?"

"I don't want money, I possess a life here in Poland, I simply desire to discover," she added.

The jury was advised that via electronic messages, text messages and phone calls, Ms Wandelt requested a DNA test, transmitted childhood photos to her phone in a attempt to display a resemblance to Mrs McCann's disappeared daughter, and claimed to have "flashbacks" from a youth with the McCanns.

An intelligence analyst, an investigator with the police force who gathered the evidence, told the court there "didn't appear to be any answers" from Mrs McCann.

Ms Wandelt furthermore contacted acquaintances of the McCanns, according to the call data.

On October 9th, 2024, Mr McCann answered a call from Ms Wandelt to his wife's phone, saying she had "incorrect contact information."

During that incident Ms Wandelt left a voicemail on Mrs McCann's voicemail declaring "I will continue and I intend to demonstrate my position."

The court was informed Mrs Spragg struck up a connection online with Ms Wandelt prior to joining her on a appearance to the McCanns' residence in the county in that winter.

Phone records showed Mrs Spragg had contacted through messaging service to Mrs McCann to state the press had depicted Ms Wandelt as "emotionally disturbed" but that she should be taken seriously in the months leading up to the trip to the village, that area, in December 2024.

The court heard message exchanges between the two individuals, in last November, planning endeavoring to obtain Mrs McCann's biological evidence from her garbage or from cutlery at a eating establishment.

"We need to make a stand," the co-defendant advised Ms Wandelt.

On the night of the appearance to their home, Mrs Spragg dispatched a text which said: "We're currently sat adjacent to the McCanns' home with our vehicle dark resembling private investigators. I had hoped to accomplish this with someone else I didn't imagine I would be engaged in this with the McCanns."

The proceedings continues.
